I have a Bachelors in civil engineering with a major in environmental engineering from the University of Sydney. My previous work has included working with FAOSTAT on crop mapping and air quality modelling for an engineering firm here in Sydney.

This thesis is focused on developing soil water forecasting methods in an Australian dryland context. My research spans soil water data calibration, temporal forecasting using deep learning, and improving on present physical models.
