Nikolas Hoskin is a PhD candiate at The University Of Sydney working in agriculture and soil science. His research area focusses on the challenges of on-farm soil mapping relevant to Australian cropping systems. Prior to undertaking his PhD, Nikolas spent several years as a Research Officer at the University of Sydney on a GRDC funded project mapping soil constraints at farms across Australia's grain growing regions.

This thesis compares available tools across a range of cropping systems, to identify and grapple with the complexities of undertaking 3-D soil mapping at the farm-scale throughout Australia’s diverse grain growing regions.
